These terms apply when you use thecaratquest.com and when you buy from us. By placing an order you accept them.
We may update these terms as the business changes. The date at the top of this page tells you when they were last revised.
You may sign in with Google to create an account. Keep your Google account secure, because anyone with access to it can sign in as you.
We may close an account that is being used fraudulently or to abuse the site.
Every piece is 925 sterling silver unless the product page says otherwise. Weights are as stated on the tag and may vary very slightly between pieces of the same design, because each one is finished by hand.
Photography is done as faithfully as we can manage, but screens differ, and the colour and lustre of silver in daylight will never be exactly what a photograph shows.
Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise. Because silver is a traded metal, prices move; the price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
If a price is listed in obvious error we will contact you before taking the order forward, and you may cancel.
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it, and we may decline an order if a piece has already sold, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we cannot verify the payment.
We deliver across India through insured courier. Delivery times given on the site are estimates, and a made-to-order or resized piece takes longer than one held in stock.
Risk passes to you once the piece has been delivered to the address you gave us.
A piece may be returned unworn, in its original box and with its tag intact, within the window stated at checkout.
Pieces that were engraved, resized or made to your specification cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Nothing here affects your rights under Indian consumer law.
Silver tarnishes; that is the nature of the metal and is not a fault. Follow the care guidance supplied with your piece.
We will repair or replace a piece that fails through a manufacturing defect. Damage from wear, impact, or contact with chemicals is not covered.
The photography, text, designs and marks on this site belong to Carat Quest. Please do not copy or reuse them commercially without our permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
